Bay State Milling Hires New Oat Milling Manager

Senior Vice President and General Manager Jaime Goehner has been appointed by Bay State Milling Company, one of the largest family-owned, privately held milling companies in the United States, for its Oat Milling Business Unit.

Based in Minneapolis, Goehner brings nearly 20 years of experience in the food and agriculture sectors. She began her career at Cargill, where she held leadership roles across commercial, operations, and risk management and agricultural supply chains in soybeans, oilseeds, and specialty seeds and oils. Most recently, she led global business development for novel feedstocks at British Petroleum.

“Bay State Milling is uniquely positioned to lead in the next chapter of oat-based innovation, with a focus on nutrition, traceability, and regenerative sourcing,” Jaime Goehner said.

“I’m excited to build on the strong foundation the team has established and to explore new ways to create value, from strengthening our identity-preserved supply chains to deepening customer partnerships.”

A North Dakota native, Goehner is passionate about agriculture, sustainability, and food systems. She volunteers at her local food bank and serves on the board of the Minnesota AgriGrowth Council.

“I’m excited to work with Jaime and look forward to the experience and leadership she will bring to an ingredient portfolio of strategic importance for Bay State Milling,” said Pete Levangie, Bay State Milling’s chief executive officer.

Goehner succeeds Kerry Keating and Walker Humphries, who will support her transition through the end of August.
